He was UTTER SHITE

He was terrible whenever he touched the ball, does not know how to dribble, where and when to pass, where to move.
He even misplaced his pass to Braithwate on the last counter, and the danish King saved his ass by overtaking the defender and squaring a cross!
He was like a lost child on the flank...
He can't be playing anywhere else apart from central areas, that should be obvious to anyone having eyes

He should be behind all of Depay, Ansu, Dembele, Coutinho, even Demir the pecking order...

The midfield need to up their game and move more.

Next to no quick transitions from defence to midfield as Busi in particular strolls about and cant find the angles and when gets it fucking looks to try roll opposition or go down through contact.

Front three rarely get game taken up park for them and had to deal with shitty punts up park from Net and balls played down channel to them on half way line all game.

depay won't bail us out single-handedly . he only combined productively with alba. right flank was dead all game.

plus, by the way things are going he is going to get injured soon. man is fouled more than neymar it seems.

It will take us some time to reunderstand the concept, but now it is about style and teamwork rather than individuals. Today Braithwaite saved the day and tomorrow someone else, maybe an oldie or maybe a youngster .. this is how it should be .. less dependency on players and more on the philosophy we play with

Koeman is clueless he never rests Pedri. Remember how exhausted and useless Pedri was at the end of last season. He lets Riqui a proven player who can play offense and defense rot on the bench again while he puts on unproven players smh. Everytime Riqui came on last year and in pre season he produced chances, won balls back and even scored goals. Terrible substitutions as always by him. He substitutes Dest and Eric for no reason they are young and fit.

The other team sat back all game imagine if they had tried to play the whole game instead of the last 10 minutes. Greizmann is not a goal scorer. If you're counting on Brathwaite good luck.

Our defense is STILL terrible. In the CL and against La Liga teams that are decent AND try to play us we wil be repeatedly exposed.
This year will not be good this "win" is an illusion.

Good game from us but as somebody noted we beat Sociedad 6-1 away last year and we are still a top-level team who will win most games, so let's expect more of this going forward. Agree with the poster saying earlier we look good with functional football but lack the spark, however we looked pretty collected and attacking in this game.
