What I see is a historic smashing.

Dortmund is no serious club anymore. Hardly ever was. 5-2 over them is a joke, especially on Bernabeu. We need to start agressively and not back down like the German pussies did and hence got fucked later on.

BVB started well but shat the bed massively in the second half. As soon as I saw that I knew they were going to get smashed.

The key to success against Madrid is to hold their rage phase of the game. And by holding I don't mean like Dortmund did yesterday parking the bus, but to keep playing offensively, press their guts, pull tactical fouls if necessary to destroy their momentum.
Pure deep defending will result in a trashing most of the time. But Flick demands always to keep playing, no matter the score, so I have no fear of Barca repeating Dortmund's tactic.

After we both smashed ze Germans, this game is going to be huge at the weekend. The toilet seat will be rocking, so let's hope it is us that brings the tabasco.

Honestly if this is the tactic Barca will lose by a lot

Yeah, those horrible 20 mins are worrying imo. Madrid has exactly the perfect players to exploit it. There's no comparison between Mbappe and Vinicius vs Olise, Sane or Gnabry.

Flick has to work on it.

At the same time, I can see our pressing bothering them a lot. Need better pressing than in the 1st half, and need better composure in possession to really make this team a force.

Madrid and Barca games vs Dortmund and Bayern had some similarities. Both teams alternated bad periods and exuberant football.

High line is suicidal if you don't press the ball carrier.

I would argue Madrids defense is not necessarily stronger than Bayerns, but they have a top coach and a top midfield to back them up.
Pedri just dominated in the midfield against Bayern, I hope that will somehow continue.

Madrid won't be able to press and move like Bayern did.

We just run 126km versus Bayern with Bayern themselves running 120.

Madrid ran 102km with Dortmund running 107km. Incredible low energy match which Dortmund overran than for a half in.

Levels to this.

If we bring that level of intensity to Bernabeu then they can not match us.
