Maybe it's time to rest Pedri, especially if we want to go strong against Dortmund. He started the last 13 games, it's an incredible streak for being Pedri. I think we can make due without him as a starter v Betis.

Raphinha is on the same streak. He's a machine though, but you never know.

4 games until Christmas break. Perhaps Flick gambles with the starters that they'll stay fit and that they can rest during that period instead.

This will be an easy win, if Lamine and Olmo start.

Betis have been horrendous lately. They struggled against Sant Andreu yesterday, drawing until the final 10 minutes. Before that they had 1 win in 6 against the mighty Celje. Recently had a shocking well deserved loss against tiny Mlada Boleslav as well.

They are no better than Mallorca and if we don't beat them we have no business challenging for the title.

It's not that Roque did not accept, but his agent is an old fox who knows the insides and outs of Laporta's belly, let alone football.

After this match Barca will have played 7 out of 9 top teams in La Liga away from home. Was/is a very tough schedule considering our injuries and think we have to take this fact into consideration when assessing Flick.
I was thinking that myself. I noticed that most of your away games were against the better teams in the division.

Tbf would rather rest him against Dortmund. We are pretty much through in the CL but need to continue winning in La Liga.

But knowing Hansi he'll probably rotate at Villamarin and drop points.

This time I agree. I would rest Pedri this weekend and Raphinha v Dortmund.

At this point I'd take a draw against Dortmund if 1-2 players got some rest. But like I said, it's 4 games left until a longer break. Flick might go all in in hope that nobody breaks.

Better to win this. Mallorca or whatever was not enough, about two or three win streak with established names, which Betis is, (right?) is needed to reestablish the previous traction that had caused all the euphoria, which was rightfully felt and deserved . And to ensure traction, start with the tractor, that's my humble advice.
