As I said they are the only team no ref whistled penalty against in La Liga. All the while also getting most penalties in La Liga.
Also least fouls whistled against.

It's laughable and out there for everyone to check.

Edit. Also Real got least cards.

Just a coincidence!!!

Then comes a Barca - Getafe and you have a more nuanced bias. Team with most fouls Getafe (average 18 per match) get whistled for only half against Barca, who also get 9 fouls.

Against teams that defend so compactly, parck the bus, we lack attacking alternatives, plans b…For example, 1. crossing for a header, but we lack height, the only good header target upfront is Lewandowski... or 2. trying shots from distance, Yamal yes, but we're not excelling in this area (midfielders like Pedri, Gavi, and Casadó can’t shoot).
Nothing new, old problem.

Torre and Olmo really should have been on for this game.

Besides having no profile like Valverde, Lewandowski is also the only one who has scored from a header. Real lack of versatility in attack.

Rapha should have shoot from distance too. I remember when he had an opportunity to do it and instead opted for a foul and eventually they bottled the freekick. Playing on the left side maybe makes it a little harder for him being left footed. He scored one like that against Las Palmas but he played on the right.

Can't believe the team lost points against Getafe again. I know that Flick is an attacking puris but after scoring the goal, the team should have given the ball to Getafe and used counter attacks. It would make Getafe fall off the rails because, as it stands, the match went according to Getafe's plan: sit deep and try to score a goal when opportunity arises. Giving ball to them would make their plan fall apart. Because let's face it. They don't know what to do when they have the ball.

Sometimes Flick needs to be more flexible with his approach to the games. Like during the game against Real Madrid when Barca was man down, it switched into the defensive shape.

The person who did comment on a situation in the refereeing organization chart that he exercised at the Coliseum was former referee Xavier Estrada Fernández. In his X account, Estrada Fernández highlighted that "the reporter designated by this match is the partner of the Real Madrid field delegate, Megía Dávila." Estrada Fernández attached the document in which the name of the official informant can be seen: Yolanda Parga Rodríguez.

Based on this information, the former First Division referee gave his critical opinion on this situation on the same social network. "In any organization that ensures rigor and transparency (RFEF) this would be considered a flagrant conflict of interest," he criticized.

Estrada Fernández recalled how, "during my career as a professional Catalan referee, it was prohibited to direct matches of Catalan teams, such as FC Barcelona, Girona FC and RCD Espanyol. However, now it seems that these limitations are non-existent for certain positions, such as the current one. responsible for women's refereeing and member of the board of directors of the RFEF".

Carlos Megía Dávila refereed in the First Division from 1995 to 2009 and from the 2009-10 season he was hired by Real Madrid. Yolanda Parga Rodríguez is one of the 51 official referee reporters of the First Division, in addition to being responsible for women's refereeing since January 2024.
