Budy, this is a season to hijack a title. This is big credit for Xavi. The squad is not the best, but the manager was desperate to win this title so he will get a shot at managing this team under better conditions in the future.
And he will get this shot. This is Xavi's title. Luck? Sure. Madrid being so-so? Sure. But Madrid win this title by default if we don't go fighting for it tooth and nail full on for 30something games. The fact that we did put up this fight so early, and punished Madrid for their lack of committment is what needs applause.
Moral of the story is that you will lose titles at your best for lack of focus, and you will win big titles if you want it more than others. Hard work always trups everyting, even if you don't have the best team. We don't have a great team, but we have a good team, and that with a full on fight it's tough to beat. Madrid has a better team, but they didn't find the passion to match us this season in La Liga. That's it.
