The second worst game of the season behind us thankfully. The worst is in Getafe. And of course we had a piece of shit ref who allowed these thugs to assault our players the whole game.
Their miss in the end couldn't have been better timed. I bet Bordalas smashed his TV at home. Damn that was satisfactory.
But many of our players had no more strength left the last 15 minutes, half the team limped and they only have 2 days to recover....

Calling this a bad game is just emotional flapping. Could've scored 5 given all the chances created. Would in that case be poor game too? Getafe/Bordalas are sticky customers. We've rarely ever smashed them in recent era. It was expected that ending could become nervy given slippery lead. Just had to score those chances is all. Bad game is where we have 0-1 shots at goal all match and poor control over it like we had with Xavi. Overall play was also good as it could be with mid of Casado-Eric-Torre. Imagine previous coaches playing this lineup?

Agreed. Flick has now lifted the bar high and people are forgetting last year's shitshows. Eric-Casado-Torre midfield and Pena on goal. Flick is squeezing a lot of juice there.

You could see there was an offensive and creative midfielder missing, you need playmakers.
And Eric is just consistently the worst player on the team, it's crucial to replace him with some veteran that has quality like Inigo immediately.
The team can't win a big match with him and shark 100%, especially if Pena also plays, that's the recipe for another historic humiliation that "no one saw coming".
