And at the end of the day, Real Madrid gains one point on us. I can do nothing but laugh. That's how ridiculous this is. At least Real Madrid will the deserve the league this season. Congrats.

They don't deserve the league. I lost count of how many offside goals they have and how many onside goals were disallowed for us. They will get it, at least partly because Lucho loves fucking up away lineups, but they don't deserve the league.

What about yesterday then? Rakitic + Pique suspended, Iniesta can't play 3 times a week (with CL in 3 days) what should he do?
Lucho should take a lot of blame for the bad form this season, but not all. In the end (if Real Madrid win the league) it is because of their superior strength in depth. They won the league in the transfermarket. We bought Gomes/Denis, they bought Asensio/James/Isco - we bought Paco, they bought Morata - we have Mathieu, they have Nacho. THAT has been the difference this season more than refereeing mistakes (Malaga got a goal disallowed as well, etc.).

That said, why give up? How can we expect our players to believe, if we turn on them and shit on them at every given opportunity? Stranger things have happened than RM losing 3 games in a row, in a rough month, with demanding games in CL, and 1 of the league-games is against us, and that would mean us winning the league! That is worth pursuing, although a missed chance like today always hits you, and yes, Gomes is incredible bad. But we have said "league is over" 100 times this season, so I'm not giving up until it is settled.

He has made many mistakes. Playing Mathieu with a high line is one of them for example. Mathieu is slow in reactions, as an attacker you can move away from him very easily. Playing Gomes who is just breaking apart is another mistake, as was playing Denis who was shit as well. You have Roberto and Iniesta. Fucking use them in a decisive game like this one.

Our results vs Malaga under Lucho were 0-0, 0-1, 1-0, 2-1, 0-0. 2 wins, 2 draws, 1 loss. So, there were plenty of signals comming into the game that showed this is in fact a tough one. You don't have a great squad, play with the starters more often. Rest them at home maybe, where teams are less adventurous.

There is no point in resting players if you lose La Liga by doing so, something Lucho doesn't seem to get. The objective is to win, not to rest players. We won the treble in 2014-15, not by playing experimental squads in decisive games.

Well at least we all can relax now and let this go. Hoping each week Madrid would falter was exhausting.

Copa is ours to lose and we still have one big dream left to hope for.

I still think we can take it, basically RM must flop only once....but problem is Lucho obviously thinks otherwise.

You're welcome

You're right. I thought Real would be 4 points ahead with one game in hand, but it's 3 points eh....Celta make it happen. I still believe...

We don't deserve to win the league and we won't. Not that Real Madrid is much better but we simply sucked.

Focus on the CL please and start planning for future transfers.

Personally, I want la liga more than the CL, and its clear the entire team gave up on it the instant we got back into CL. But that doesn't change the fact that RM are underserving, they have been unbelievably lucky in the fall + the common ref help, while barca had wrongly disallowed goals left and right. Now many are giving props to RM while bashing Barca, it pisses me off. Nothing exists in a vacuum and even Lucho's rotations aren't a bigger factor for our ultimate failure than ref help.
