If it's over, it's over. If in one of our worst season in recent history we can make the double, it just speaks volumes about this team. Imagine next season with some good transfers and with a manager who doesn't make so many tactical and squad management mistakes. We can go for the treble again.

All we need is to make some top transfers, and we can be the best in the world again in no time. It's not like a team is much better than the other atm in Europe, it's the fine details that make the difference, and I hope a new manager will fix them.

I'm quite relaxed in this end of the season because I really believe we made too many mistakes against mediocre teams to win the league. It's quite similar to the last season, only reversed. Madrid beat us at home and got close, but in the end we were careful in the last 4-5 games and won the league anyway. I think this will happen this time too.

This is what has been going through my mind constantly. Imagine if we still grab a doble under the current season's performance. It would be devastating to Real mentally.
That's why I still really hope we win La Liga. All those late minute headers of Ramos will be deemed fruitless.

Imagine we win the double and they win nothing. But it won't happen. Madrid will probaly take the league, miss out in CL (I think both Atletico and especially Juventus can take them out, considering they will give 150%), and we'll win the Copa. This is the most likely scenario imo.

Also, if we win this Liga it will be remembered as the one where Barca was pulled through by Messi. It would be a great reward for his efforts this season. Probably will win him Balon d'Or.

It's not over if Valencia lose today, it will be over if we drop points though.

If Real are to drop points it will happen against either Sevilla or Celta imo.

It's still too early to say who is going to win. It was a performance for the ages by Leo but still it would be hard for him to win given Barcelona's early exit from Champions League. That's what basically the journalist that get to vote for Balon d'Or review - trophies and Cristiano. Messi has to score 80+ goals this year to be in the race.

Honestly, I don't think Ronaldo's performance CL-wise will weigh that heavy this year. The gap between Messi and him have become THAT apparent.

Then again he won us the 100 point liga scoring 50 goals and CR won the ballon d'or that year because Portugal beat Sweden in Euro qualification playoffs.
Think if Messi wins it, it's because people finally feel that Ronaldo has been awarded enough. 3 in 4 years for precious little.

Cristiano is in tragic form all season long, but the 5 goals against Bayern will weigh in definitely, of course under the condition Real Madrid win CL.
