They were without BBC, modric and marcelo didn't come on till the 80th minute. Let's not act like they are anywhere near full strength. Foolish to think this is the team real will put out each week.

Dortmund kicked their ass and they were all playing. This RM isn't scary at all. If it weren't for Ramos's super powers we would have been only 1 point behind despite our bad start.

They hardly kicked their ass they drew when real stopped playing and thought it was over in a game where they were already through. It's hard to take much from that kind of game. I don't think anybody is saying they are unstoppable. They don't need to be.

I am really sick and tired of being fed with a glimmer of hope and being tricked to believe that there are alternatives, only to have hopes brutally dashed and crushed later. Maybe Zidane/Ramos/Real Madrid belong to a different universe where luck never runs out. I am starting to believe that. Sure they worked hard, but very few people had the same kind of conversion rates/lucky draws they have had, everything has to be lined up perfectly for the perfect strike to happen at the perfect time, if this is not luck I don't know what is.

Fuck 2016. Fuck my life.

It's not that bad, really. spain is corrupted as can be, some of the "luck" they had were help from refs, but the past 2 seasons we won a treble and a double. We won't the league win every year, it's part of football. I think they'll win the league this year, it's been a while for them. They're hungrier.
Why I wish our coach would focus on the CL this season.

Nothing has changed

We depend badly on what iniesta otherwise our midfield looks average and we depend purely on MSN.

Nothing has changed?! in first 6 months we had Vermaelen, Douglas and Gombau on the bench! Rafinha was injured, Adriano was injured all of the time, and Arda and Vidal were unable to play.

For example today we had Masche, Digne, Rafinha, Rakitic, Denis and Paco on the bench. Our bench is decent and far better than last year. And of course we depend on Iniesta, Real also depends on Modric.

I mean nothing has changed in the sense even with who we have brought in we need iniesta playing and MSN playing pretty much all together to get results.

It takes time to gel for those players we bought, especially here. Madrid's squad players meanwhile all have had a years worth of experience at the club and with Zidane's tactics.

Outside of Isco and Morata, they really don't have any players who are head and shoulders above our squad players. Kovacic, Lucas Vasquez and Asensio are roughly at the same level as Rafinha, Gomes and Denis. I don't see much difference in quality there. Yeah, Isco is probably better than Arda and Morata is certainly a better option off the bench than Paco but all in all, they have like 1.5 better squad players than we do. To make it seem like our bench players are all shit is inaccurate. Off form and not in the best tactical system yes, but I think its hyperbole with the extent that you are suggesting Madrid's bench is so much better than ours.

you cant call this luck, win over deportivo with second squad, they know what they are doing, they have winning mentality, thats it. I also think they will take la liga, and about CL, nobody did not defend CL title, why should they

Agreed on first part, not on second.

Real madrid team is simply better then us, by margin I would say now (if we are looking at depth). Our subs are no where near as good as theirs, thats why these funny rotations by Enrique could cost us title. Because our 2nd team cannot beat team easily, even at home, while Real Madrids can.

Sorry, that's ridiculous.

Don't let results blind you from the truth. They aren't better than us at all, we were the better team in El Clasico and their bench isn't even really better than ours. Paco should be performing better than Soriano. Zidane is simply putting them in better chances to succeed than Lucho. Lucho puts players in MSN's system and expects the same results, that's the problem. If he altered the tactics each game to fit the 11 he's playing, this difference wouldn't be as noticeable.

But they aren't simply better than us, not by a long shot.

I think their bench is better but it isn't just about quality.
Half of our bench is from new & Young players.
I mean we have 22 players,3 of them are the GKs,so that leave us with 19 outfield players for 10 positions. We have 10 starters set. so 9 bench players

They are:
Umtiti 23,joined 2016
Mathieu 33 and joined in 2014
Digne 23 joined 2016
Vidal 27 and didn't play a game for us b4 2016
Rafinha 23
Denis 22 and joined us 2016
Gomes 23 and joined us 2016
Arda 29 and didn't play a game with the team before 2016
Paco 23 and joined us in 2016

So out of 9 bench players you have only 3 who are older than 23 and 2 of them are at the end of the rotation. Only one player who has played a game for us before this calendar year.
All 6 young players actually lacks experience at the big stage, some of them are quality at least for the bench (Digne,Gomes,Umtiti at least,Denis,Rafinha could argued to be quality bench player too, even Paco if he decided to remember his football skills) but all of them has most of their experience in domestic league or few games in Last Euros. while the likes of Isco,James,Moratta has way more experience than any of them while being a year or two older.
Also RM has added few players this year, while we added many -for good reason- and that plays in their favor, they have taken a page from our own book. Stability has been always a huge part of our success. We prefer a stable squad rather than a dynamic changing one which is the right thing despite doing it to a fault(Pinto & Adriano) but this time RM kept their core together and let them grow from inside and it is helping them while we had to pay the price of stagnation within the squad with an overhaul in our bench which affected it.
By next year I would say even if the same group are on the bench their strength will be way closer. but this year RM is having a huge advantage in terms of experience and time with the team while we are suffering from the pains of youth and changing in the squad movement.

As a RM fan I guess we played a good game.
We hadn't BBC,Marcelo(for the most part of the game),CARVAJAL,Modric and still created enough chances to score and win the game.
Kroos was vital in luka's absence and also DISCO(I don't know how Zidan changed his play and improved it,but it's obvious :) )

And about comparing our bench to yours:
I believe that all Isco,Kovacic,James and Lucas , in their current form are better and more efficient than your Sub-MFs.

The transfer ban really set Barca back. Real have accounted for it by bringing through quality young players.

La Masia is really letting Barca down, combined with Lucho not utilising it or losing the few good talents. Bellerin and Grimaldo for example should be in our squad.
