Missed most of the game but Tenerife-Zaragoza seems to be a good one. Tenerife were 2-0 up but played with 10 men for 65 minutes. Then Zaragoza with a comeback in last 15 minutes to win it 3-2. Bazdar with two goals looks like a good signing for them. Zaragoza now jumped to 2nd but ofc other teams are still playing in this round. Tenerife are last.

Cadiz-Malaga tomorrow and then Racing (1st) vs Levante (4th) on Sunday.

Great start for Racing Santander, already 8 points clear at the top of the table.

Of the last 25 seasons in the Second Division of Spanish football, in the entire 21st century, only five teams have reached thirty points on matchday 13, to which now, in this 2024-2025 season, Real Racing Club is added from Santander.

Atlético de Madrid in the 2001/02 season (champion and promotion), Xerez in 2005/06 (non-promotion), Málaga in 2007/08 (second place and promotion), Levante in 2016/17 (champion and promotion) and Cádiz in the 2019/20 season (second place and promotion) have been the only teams in this century to achieve 30 points until the thirteenth day of the League.

Racing wants to achieve what four of those five teams that reached 30 points on matchday 13 achieved: promotion to the First Division.

Despite this last tie, only two teams of the five that reached matchday 13 with 30 points were able to have the same advantage that Racing now has against the second placed team in the Hypermotion League.

Cádiz (2019/20) and Levante (2016/17), which in those seasons managed to rise to First Division, did achieve the point difference that the white club now has, which against Zaragoza, Sporting and Oviedo, has eight more points.

Then we have teams between Zaragoza (2nd) and Eibar (11th) all inside four points.

Standings are not fully complete though as four games in last round were postponed due to floods/bad weather, for example Levante (21 points) could jump all the way to 2nd and only 6 points behind Racing if they win their game in hand against Malaga.

BTW talking about Malaga, they are masters of draws. Only lost 1 game (same as Racing) but they've drawn 8 (for comparision Racing Ferrol who are in relegation zone have 6 draws and then no other team has more than 4).

also, @khaled_a_d your lad Yeremay doing good. Will need to catch some more Depor games.

Almeria already up to 2nd, only two points behind Racing who are really struggling lately. Three straight losses and only 4 points out of last 5 games. How fast things can change and we're not even half way through the season.

Also, Malaga with yet another draw, their 12th of the season, seven of them were goalless. Antonito started his first game in almost two months and played 85 minutes.

Great start for Zaragoza, 4-0 away win at Cadiz.

Would like to see them get promoted but they started last season with 5 wins and then almost got relegated...

And history is repeating, started season well and were 2nd after 10 rounds but have now only won 1 of the last 9 games.

Yesterday they bottled a 2-0 lead and lost against Oviedo.

Victor Fernandez announced his resignation in press conference after game, club at first didn't accept it but he only showed to training today to say good bye to the players and then his assistant took over. BTW, this was Fernandez's fourth spell with his hometown team.
