He is another player whose name has come up regarding our new CB. Some Arsenal fans say that he has improved a lot last season. Is he good enough to play at Barca? Is he compatible with Pique? His transfer price should be around 15-20 mil €. I think he would be a better solution then Rami, Mathieu and similar players. From what i've seen of him, he's still quite young, he's good in the air and not to slow.

he'd be one of the best buys we have had from Arsenal but with that said.. I am really tired of buying from arsenal.

i'm coming to realize that we don't have anyone out scouting for senior players or they are horrible at it or, it is just a formality.

From what I've seen from him the last 1.5 seasons, is that whenever he is in the backline Arsenal's defense looks completely different. He was a bit shaky when he first got there, had a few injuries too but he's been great the past season for the most part imo. I'd prefer him over many that we're linked too. I'd love to get someone experienced like him and then Marquinhos, and young very promising player.

One experienced but not overly expensive player like him then many Igor from U Chile and maybe one more from S. America.

Clubs have a huge smile on their face when they see Barcelona coming
15-20 for Koscielny? Just like Vermaelen and Agger, Kos is pretty injury prone and has a knack for own goals.

Our CB targets should be obvious (Martinez, Marquinhos, Mangala, Juan, Vertonghen, N'Koulou, Alderweireld, or even Botia) but we're still being linked to Mathieu, Agger, Kos, Vermaelen. These "cheap" players are short term fixes and will have absolutely no resale value. We develop world class players but when it comes to buying, our scouts are either lazy or just stupid. Puyol & Mascherano need to eat right and train hard because I'm not getting my hopes up on signing a young/quality CB.

We need to couple that signing with at least one if not two cheap talents from S. America flavia. Let them fight it out to force piqué to focus as well is lock down some talent for long season and upcoming.

Think I should change my avatar :p
I like Kos, better than some names linked to Barça. But I highly doubt unknown names will be signed. If zubi go for a cheap option, it'd be Mathieu.

Better hope it wont be Mathieu, he played like a few games at CB and suddenly he became an option? its stupid
