I'd play with Griezmann or even Messi as a false 9 next season. We won't win anything anyway. Would be stupid to spend money (that we don't have) on another striker who is far from clinical.

Lautaro shouldn't even be in the conversation right now. I kinda like him because i like that type of striker in general but financially it's just way out of proportion.

Last thing the club needs is another 100+ mil signing not working out as expected and that is a very real possibility given how inconsistent he is. That's not the kind of risk you can take when you have to replace like half the squad over the course of 1-2 years.

Haaland is 70m in 2 years, worst case we wait for someone elite to sigh for that price. a stop gap is to potentially try fati there see if he can adapt. Literally have nothing to lose.

Only reason to get Lautaro is a 1-1 swap with Griezmann. I mean, he is still worldclass and has succeeded with a Lukaku-kinda compatriot. Could be the missing piece for the scudetto.

However, I doubt that this is even considered by one of the parties, especially with the astronomical wages Griezmann is on.
