Dude you are from Cyprus and support Barcelona, the most successful club team in the world right now, the true definition of a glory supporter.
People from outside the major Europeans nations are bound to support one of the major European clubs. The vast majority here in Cyprus support one of the English teams.
Most go for either Liverpool or Man United. Cypriots who emigrated to England a few decades back, support either Arsenal or Spurs (because most of them live in North London)
Those who are better "educated" in football, tend to support some of the continental sides, but they are quite few in relative terms. They go for either AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid or Barca.
If I elaborate on the criteria by which they make these choices you will die of laughter, because you do not know anything about Cypriot society (not that there is the slightest reason that you should)
Anyway, back to our point, by your logic, all foreign supporters are gloryhunters. If that is what you have in mind, then so be it. It is just a matter of definition. Of course everyone has his local club, but when it comes to world-class football, as a football fan, you are bound to choose a major European side. I can't see what is so wrong with that?
If you are a tennis fan, are you not allowed to support Federer unless you are Swiss? What kind of logic is that?
You support a minor side by British standards. But from what I realize from your posts, you tend to support the English teams when it comes to European competition. And you quite possibly have some preference when it comes to domestic football in England. But I don't really care in accusing you for that.
In fact, the intention of the major European clubs, is precisely not to be local, and seek to create fans everywhere in the world. The EPL would have been less than half of what it is without international interest. So, be careful what you wish for.
