Leroy Sane

If you're getting £100m+ for Sané then why not put your hand in your pocket and try and sign Neymar. I'm surprised there's no talk of City doing that, though they seem to avoid superstar names for some reason.

We were linked to Sane for 50m when City bought him, I don't know why we went for Denis, Paco, Gomes instead.

ImO Leroy Sane is overrated, if he plays for City he often plays worldclass but for Germany he is most of the time average/good. I want to make clear that Pep is the key, he makes a good player to a worldclass player as he gives him accurate orders what he has to do on the pitch. Sane, Sterling, Gabriel Jesus were average before meeting Pep. David Silva and Bernardo Silva were good but now they are really worldclass.
Lets see what happen.

Pep constantly talks about how City can't spend much money this summer, so i assume there is some truth to that. They still want a CB too according to him but it seems like it's complicated to sign an expensive player. So i guess even if they can sell Sane for 100M Neymar just wouldn't be possible financially.

They also only have very little time left (until 8.8.) what would make all of that even more complicated.

I honestly cannot imagine Guardiola sanctioning such a bad move.

It's probaby Pep who wants him. I think Oyarzabal is very underrated (and at the same time Sane is a bit overrated). I like Sociedad, they have a good young team and I'll watch them a lot next season so I hope Oyarzabal stays but it would be probably the best for his career to move to a better club.

Oyarzabal would also be the easiest to sign in less than a week because City won't need to negotiate with his club but just pay buyout clause if Sane eventually leaves which I still think it's not very likely to happen regardless of the rumours.

Because saying Qatar and UAE don't get along these days is an euphemism. And PSG owner is Qatar when City, while done in a more sophisticated way, is UAE.

Because Neymar sucks? Let's count how many games he will miss in the upcoming season, no matter which team he plays for.

All signs are pointing to Sane signing for Bayern, Bayern's latest denial made it more so (because they don't want to get into trouble and complicate things with City). In my opinion Sane is a bit overrated and is nowhere worth 137m which is rumored to be the price tag City put on him.

By all means City, milk as much money as possible from Bayern, they are loaded.
