The game has changed now, Arsenal is a bigger draw than Barcelona in my opinion.

Five, 10, 15 years ago, you ask any footballer or manager in the world and they all wanted to play for or manage Real Madrid or Barcelona. That was the pinnacle of your football career.

But I do not think that is now the case with Barcelona anymore, they are an also-ran. They are not a big threat in Europe anymore and are well of the pace in the Spanish title race, while they got smashed again the other night by Villareal.

Five, six, seven years ago I may have said, 'I do not see anything but Arteta leaving', although I could be wrong, but I do not see how they are a bigger draw than Arsenal today. I do not see how they are a step forward, then there are their finances and you would rather work with Arsenal's squad of players than Barcelona's right now.

Serious question. Is he back on the drink?

He has a few points but it's more PL is a bigger draw than Barca/La liga. Arsenal as a club are little league compared to us but PL is PL.

If he truly believes Arsenal are a bigger club, he isn't on drink, it's likely crack.

Villarato!
Absolutely should be in that photo.
Maybe not Gattuso considering he got Milan on straight and narrow after they were coasting under his pals Pippo and Seedorf, and doing a bit better than predecessor in Marseille. He's just got a knack for accepting challenging-but-ultimately-terrible jobs. Might be the next Chelsea manager at this rate.

OGS definitely best of the lot

I would be willing to bet real money non of the names on the list will be the new manager of Barcelona, there are other names much more probable. Barcelona as club has always had a fetish for dutch managers. Ten Haag in not available but second in line would be Arne Sloth who won the dutch league last season with Feynoord, he was the target for Tottenham before they went with Postecoglou.

People talking about experience are pulling nonsense out of their rear end, Guardiola had 1 year with the reserve squad in the 4th tier. Luis Enrique had 2 rubbish years with Roma and Celta Vigo and before that 3 unassuming years with the reserve squad. Frank Rijkaard had a failed season in the dutch league relegating Rotterdam and did nothing with the NT.

Pffft, OGS would not even be hired to water the hedges at Barcelona training ground. He is not competent to even navigate a rubber duck in his own bathtub.
Well yeah coz he has no past links to Barca.

United will never hire Xavi......

What's your point?

OGS a total embarrassment that no team in Europe will ever consider for a coaching position

Xavi actually won something and for sure will go on to coach other clubs in the future

Xavi wouldn't win shit against Pep's City and Klopp's Liverpool.

Every time he has faced a half decent team in Europe, he got embarassed.

Atleast Ole had a pleasant personality and could take criticism.

Wolfe is trolling, but there is a point there.
OGS could never win a trophy in EPL vs Pep and Klopp with prime teams.
But would he win one if he was the coach of Barca or Madrid? Very possibly, yes he would
On the other hand, would Xavi win anything with UTD at EPL the same years? Of course not.
Would he land UTD higher in the table that OGS, or play better football? Hmmm...
Some would not like the answer to the last one

@Birdy

How about Graham Pitta Patter Potter?

Nope, 1) fans don't have the patience for such a project, 2) the football he plays will not match the type expected

The next Barca coach should clearlly identify with positional tactics and super attacking philosophy
