Motta should seriously be our first pick.

Maybe he won't want it mind you given his trajectory and the toxicity around the club currently.

But ticks the boxes and has that La Masia boy tag.

Should have been in the list because of what he did with Bologna the last two years.

Red pill: he is in the list because he has the La Masia boy tag

Reality of the club under Laporta and Deco.

'Opinions are divided inside the Barcelona board
– A part of the board wants Xavi to continue for another year until 2025 and then go for a ‘top-level’ coach (Pep Guardiola, Luis Enrique, Jürgen Klopp) or someone like Mikel Arteta.
- Another big part of the directors want to hire Hansi Flick. Flick does not want to be an interim manager. He is looking for a 2 years contract. This is a discouraging ask for Barça as they look to significantly change things in 2025.'

Can you see the problem here? The first part of the board cited here is totally clueless and acts on whims and fantasies like Laporta.
0 chance that any of the listed names can/is interested in taking over in 2025
These clowns are gonna waste another year because of their fantasies

They gave Xavi the keys to the kingdom and now they're wondering how to clean up the mess. Of course everyone has a different opinion which isn't going to help.
For me it's Motta, Tuchel or Flick. I doubt Klopp comes to this mess. I'm surprised Flick is still interested in the job. I doubt Motta comes here. He knows the club and probably gets inside information.

Those mention that coaches that do well at average team would do the same at top club are just wrong. Ask Potter or Ten Hag...

Some mention Palace coach, holy shit

I think Birdy is rightjust stuck in 80'. You can be very much a top manager at lower clubs too.
But moving up can break you due to enemies in press or your players give a fuck because you are nobody they are at the end of their carriers.
So many things to consider.
You also need a president that is old school and not Bartomeu or the clowns from Chelsea, United
Anyway, I am not very impressed with EPL tactical or tehnical abilities except for 3 teams in a moderate way. They have good managers and some good players and that's it. If Glasner beat the top 3 while the games had a stake might be a good coach.
UEL isn't that hard but still not irrelevant.
I will love to see him at Bilbao first. Good team, healthy environment, if you are a genius you can totally win La Liga with them

The discussion makes little sense anyway. Grinding braincells for nothing.
Take Motta and call it a day. You take another risk. If that fails you take the clap-trap supreme losser Klopp.
You can take Hansi or Tuchel for the total swarming football or the more strategic german aproach. You can take Simone to go for the the Carlo effect.
Never mind you have lots of options but the fans decided for Xavi.
So it's quite hilarious this topic.

No way Laporta gives Motta the job. He had a falling out with Motta and he's too egotistical to backbdown and give him the job.

Laporta had a falling out with Motta? When? What was the reason? IMHO Motta is the best candidate to take over right now. He basically ticks all the boxes.
