Lionel Messi - v7

Sarcasm doesn?t change facts; questioning the credibility of the source does. Logic 101.

No respectable news outlet picked up that "story" that was allegedly told by Zubizarreta.
But hey, it suits the agenda of Messi being a dictator so who cares. Forum de amigos morons will still throw shit at Messi.

Apparently not. He is still the little dictator, who openly critized this useless board for total fuckups in transfer market, with no project. There was always rumours messi wants this, wants that but somehow they didnt bring anyone from that long list of messi's wishes.

So when Suarez leaves can we finally put an end to the messi is the dictator of barcelona talk?

No.

Messi got jealous on Suarez and didn't want him to catch up on Barca's best goalscorer all time so he threw him out of the club , just like he did with Ronaldinho , Eto'o and Zlatan.

No.

The club didn't want to upset Messi when he was a gamechanger.

Today, having Messi doesn't guarantee even La liga anymore.

So, since Messi's impact is smaller, the club is making powerplay moves.
They still need Messi for some goals, plus for Tv rights, shirts sales and sponsors.

He will be gone next summer.

About Zubi's words, what's there not to trust?

Messi was a Goat, but it was always clear that he is not listening to anyone and that he wants his friends as his teammates:
- not playing as a Rw
- dropping deep
- not playing defense
- taking every single free kick
- never being subbed
- wants to play every game and every minute
- picking some coaches
- about friends, remember how he was making love with Neymar after every goal, it was painful to watch. Yet with Griezz, zero, nothing.
- Suarez, Lautaro

Messi was a key figure in our rise.
But he is also one of key reasons of our fall.

So when he'll win La liga this season , will be able to go back to being a dictator again and bring Suarez back ?

We'll win La liga only if 3-4 players will explode.

33 years old drained and sulking Messi won't win it in Messipendencia style.
Those days are behind us.

you still didn't answer my question

If you say that Messi was a dictator only because Barca won trophies and now they didn't anymore , will he turn back to being a dictator if we win la Liga and bring Suarez back ?

As usual, BBZ goes overboard. Of the last 3 LL, we've won 2 and the one time we don't win by a few points, Messi can suddenly no longer win us a title. He can't win us CL anymore, but LL is still very much doable. And I expect us to win it this season.

In La Liga Messi can still be a trump card if he gets his shit straight and goes back to work, stop acting like a child. In CL I think he is more of a liability than a real weapon. His worst aspects happen to be the ones that are absolutely key in CL -> movement and intensity.

Messi needs to improve based on his last season though. His scoring numbers away from home were dreadful even in La Liga.

Tell that to Liverpool home :)

Setup bumdele to make it 4-0 and secure our treble and he misses an open goal.

Setup Suarez and many others for Anfield sitters all missed.

Yet Messi gets the blame

Not this again.... He didn't exactly delivered on Anfield in the key game did he? He wasn't terrible, but wasn't great either. There's a reason why we are 0-16 or something in key away games in CL. The attack, and Messi is a large part of it, is shit.

If anything, I've always said set pieces is the only aspect older Messi is better than younger Messi at.

So,

0-1 Atletico
0-2 Atletico
0-4 PSG
0-3 Juve
0-3 Roma
0-4 Liverpool
2-8 Bayern.

0 goals by Messi in 7 games. 25 goals conceded. He doesn't defend, and doesn't contribute with end product either. You could make a case if he didn't defend, but scored in most of those games. Yet he has 0 goals and 0 assists in 7 games. All that is left in those games is us trying to defend with one man less. A main reason why we conceded 3.5 goals / game.

In La Liga he has been a huge weapon in our prolonged dominance during his era. In CL he has been more of a liability in the 2nd part of his career.
