Lionel Messi - v7

Not really though, god it's pointless with you. I don't know why he'd say that tbh. But there we go again, I don't know. A respectable person in the club wouldn't say something to throw Messi under the bus like that so there could easily be some weird reason he said it.

Not really mate. I choose what to believe and what not to believe based on probable causes, logic, and other signs. I don't choose to believe or not believe something based on if I am a fan of somebody or not.

This doesn't mean I'm right or wrong, it can be either, but it's a process that makes more sense than what you guys have in place.

That's the real issue.

No you choose to believe anything that confirms your opinion. You don't apply logic to it at all. Just your version of logic that allows you to say "See, I was right!"

How am I not applying logic? I just told you. If somebody discloses something I want to hide, a secret I'm not proud of, that makes me look bad, it is logical and in my best interest to deny it.

Your reply to that was I don't know why Zubi said that. Well, give me something as logical as my reason and we can talk.

It's just pissing in the wind with you though isn't it. I don't need to provide you with anything because it doesn't matter what this reason is. Martino has said he didn't say it, he also managed Messi in the Argentina team. These 2 bits of evidence are enough to say that Messi can't be crucified for what Zubi has said. Not that it didn't happen, because it could have. It means that it can't be used as a stick to beat Messi with. There's plenty of other sticks at the moment so you can still get your anger out.

And there's plenty of other reasons to have a go at him, just not this one anymore. Until more is said about it by someone.

Don't bother trying to talk sense with Serghei regarding Messi @Rory. He has this idea of messi in his head and will use anything that agrees with his narrative, while dismissing anything that goes against it.

I don't know what type of relationship Tata had with messi, but using some logic it can't have been that bad if they teamed up again for Argentina a year later. Most people wouldn't want to work with someone again if the first experience was really bad.

Or since Tata is a semi unknown farmer like Setien, who will never coach another European team, that was his once in a lifetime opportunity.

Even with a dictator Messi, he had a chance to win Copa America or a World cup.

Not to mention that he earned a lot of money.

For example, I don't like Neymar.
But I would gladly take 5m per year for coaching him even if he will create a tactical mess.
Not to mention that there is always a chance to even win trophies due to Messi's/Neymar's individual skills.

I'm not talking about tactical issues here. I'm talking about Tata living in fear that, if I don't please Messi, he'll get me sacked. That is what serghei believes happened at Barca. Why would you want to live through that again?

Because his a cuck. His whole body language screams it and the way he managed also. Don't like these old frail uncles being invited into such stage. The same happened to Sampaoli. He looked devastated under real pressure in both Sevilla and ARG. They should only coach some semi amateurs like Old Boys or something.

Serghei is right on this.

You have to apply critical thinking and common sense to what you read.
Like someone citing a few days ago Koeman saying that Messi is easy to manage.
Could Koeman speak freely? No, because he is employed.

Now, think of all the possible reasons Tata has to deny the story.

forum de amigos lapping it up it seems

well, tata is no longer employed by barcelona, is he? it's normal do deny this kind of stories, otherwise idiots like you come up with theories that tata was messi's lackey.

It's normal to deny it because it looks bad on him first and foremost.
Then it looks also bad on Messi

I beg you pardon but i still can't understand a thing: what does it matter to know how is Messi off the pitch?
I mean, we can deduce that being one of the strongest players ever, his weight in the locker room and on the coaches is enormous.
Extraordinary things have always an extraordinary impact on the context.
but if we all agree on this, I would say that there is nothing more to say, in fact whether or not he's a dictator, whether or not he's a bad guy, whether or not he is selfish, does this change the judgment of his performance on the pitch?
No

It's useless to apply logic with these guys...

Money, money, money.

Again, if I were a random coach from Compostela or Tenerife and get a chance to coach Barca.
That would be once in a lifetime opportunity.
I will earn 10-20x more than before (look at Valverde).
For average coaches that is a win-win.
The same as how players come to Barca, get benched but they don't want to leave like Song, Rakitic etc.
Since they are earning insane amount of money.
And if you know that you won't succeed in other clubs either, it's better to sit and earn money at Barca.

Now imagine if Argentina offers NT job to Setien or Valverde.
They don't have jobs, nobody wants them.
Why wouldn't they take one more big chance and take a lot of money?

Even if that means being cucked by Messi.

In real life, a lot of people do jobs which they don't like or work for bosses who they don't like.
But if the money is good...

Now apply the same logic to a farmer Tata Martino.
