Him becoming a turnover merchant started when we were chasing the lead for a second time and Koeman went with the Fifa tactics against (Defenders out --> Attackers in). For me he was alright on the ball the 1st half and horrible the second.

Just to make it clear , I'm not absolving him of any blame , ofc he was part of it (being more clinical the second half for example). But the defenders were the biggest ones and Messi doesn't even come close to that.

True I think Koeman kills the team when there's no defenseman or midfielders. Players have no idea where to play and it's a mess. Look at the situation Trincao was trying to defend 1vs1. He should never be put to situation like that.n

I know players decline, but I don't think that's the main reason why he's playing so poorly this season. I do think it's down to him not giving a shit. Yeah, he's not as good as he used to be..... but, I think it's more to do with his lack of motivation and the fact he doesn't want to be here. He can't carry like he used to, so having average support around him doesn't help. He needs major help.

Even when he does well, it's purely his individual quality. The team's cohesiveness and positioning is still shit. This is why there is no coming back for Messi at Barcelona. It's done.

How am I calling him a piece of shit? I'm saying he doesn't look bothered and he's being lazy.... which he is for the most part. He doesn't want to be here. You can tell that by his body language.

I wasn't even against him leaving back in August because I knew this would happen. I knew this would be his worst season for us. When you're lacking motivation and you don't want to be here, it's going to affect your performance. It's not a coincidence anymore. Yeah, he's not as good as he used to be.... but that's not because he's "declined." It's more to do with the reasons I've stated.
