I kinda agree with this, Messi is already much older and we could easily bench Griezmann if he is underperforming

Well nobody would be happier than messi himself though, even if barca would cut his contract halfway this season. Mission accomplished.

He could sit his lazy ass for months in his luxury home and still receive money from social media, remaining sponsors and his hotel, restaurant etc.

Exactly. I think it helped us out tremendously how he came down and received the ball from Ter Stegen or the CBs when we couldn't play it out. He's so good at receiving it with a man in his back and getting turned around. An essential part of playing possession based football that we've lacked since Xavi and Iniesta
