Messi has a history of being petulant when unhappy at club or not getting own way. Nothing new.

Voting Neymar and Mbappe he knows the reaction it will get and so to not voting MATS.

PSG made the CL finals and lost by a very narrow margin to Bayern Munich. Neymar, Mbappe, and Navas were arguably the 3 best players on the team for that run.

Nothing sinister about voting that way. Messi probably realizes PSG is another team without a midfield, and decent fullbacks where a few key players have to carry the team.

Bayern battered team in the CL and beat PSG when Neymar and Mbappe were poor.

PSG beat Dortmund, Atalanta and Liepzig to get there. They did not beat one top team.

If he was voting based on CL clearly Bayern players is the realistic choice.
