2 december but the winner is informed 10-15 days before the ceremony cause he does the photoshoot with France Football so in the next 2-3 weeks we should be able to know already who won.

Baffles me how a CB (a great CB) in a team like Liverpool where every player is part of the overall system could potentially win Balon D'or. Talk about hype or what.. don't get me wrong the addition of VVD to Liverpool has been immense but Balon D'or is an individual award not collective one.
Messi won every individual award last season and was the stand out player BY FAR in all of the top 5 leagues. No question he should win it, it would be a joke if he doesn't.

Just because you scream something doesn't make it true. Provide counter arguments. The GOAT debate in tennis is even more contentious than in football. All 3 of Federer, Nadal, and Nole have very strong claims each. If Federer had taken those 3 GSs from Nole WHILE being on the older/old side, that would have been the end of it. But he wasn't cutthroat enough. Those small tournaments have little to no bearing. That's like me focusing only on Messi's record in Liga. By that metric, he's runaway GOAT because CR7 was directly competing against him for 9 years and won 2 Ligas while Messi won 6. But we ALSO factor in CLs, WCs, individual awards, talent, drive, motivation etc etc.
He won't win anything again at this rate. Almost certainly his last chance at the ballon d'or, as his last crack at the CL was last season. He knew it too (was desparate to win it). Knows this year there's no chance.

Partly his fault. If he's so desperate to win it he could have forced a change, or at the very least recognized some of our flaws.
I won't put it on him though as ultimately it's the board that decides what to do with the manager and you ideally don't want your players to get involved in that process as it can get very dirty.
Would be kinda ironic if the team's poor performance so far this season is what end up costing him the BdO.

Lots of cules have turned into CR7 fanboy-mode when it comes to Messi. Back in the days 2009-2012 I used to laugh so much about Madridistas constantly stressing Ronaldo is the best player, constant ballon d’or talk, Ronaldo vs Messi while we won title after title.
Now the tables have turned. Cules constantly talk about Messi vs Ronaldo and Real won 4 CL in a row. They don’t care about Ronaldo anymore. They don’t even bother with the Messi v Ronaldo, who wins Ballon d’or.
I couldn’t care about what Messi wins, I care about my club.

You act as if Barcelona is on a dry spell like Madrid was back then. Without Messi, we would be.
What I was trying to say is that I find all these debates whatever Messi is the best, ballon d’or, Messi v Ronaldo to be hilarious. And who cares if he is anyway? Is it of importance to our club or current situation?
And the funny thing is that it’s only cules who now focus on stuff like this when it used to be Madridistas.
