Today is the first time that Lionel Messi has participated in a Presidential election at Barcelona.

Not really that surprising tbh. He was still a kid in 2003 (don't even know if he had the right to vote then as he probably wasn't the club member long enough), we were in the middle of Pep's successful years in 2010 so he probably didn't care too much who the president is (and would probably also vote for Rosell) and then a similar story in 2015 when he still had a good relationship with Bartomeu, we've just won a treble and he was surrounded by his amigos so he had no reason to vote.
