Lionel Messi - v7

Another goalless game while CR7 will score at least two against the worst team of Serie A tomorrow. Depressing times.

not really worried about Ronaldo, hes playing in a piss poor league for the most corrupt team. hes bound to surpass Leo

I'm more worried about the CL this week vs Napoli.. if Messi isn't scoring, even if/when Suarez returns, we are pretty much fucked

You have to feel for him. Today he literally had to drop way into our own half and do some magic for us to even get past their pressure.

I feel like he's having too much attacking duties. Get an attacker that can try to pull defenders away from him. Preferably a 9. Also, then he can run in the box more rather than drop deep and create all the time.

still the best. missing suarez. but i think suarez is out for the rest of the season along with fati.

i bet its like playing for argentina right now. his goal RATIO drought could seriously go on for a while.

Hate him all you like, Ronaldo has the hunger and drive at 35 that Messi has been lacking for years.

Messi's coasted along on his (god given) talent, Ronaldo saw the writing on the wall at Madrid after winning THREE CL's on the bounce, so jumped ship at the right time, Messi's watched shit manager after shit manager come in whilst the board completely destroy the DNA of the Club with some truly shocking signings.

He's got one big decision to make in the summer, if he stays his legacy will end up being tainted by constant failure in Europe in his remaining years at the Club. No one wants to admit it. The Club are fucked without him and Messi's loyalty doesn't need questioning if he decides he wants one last hurrah in Italy or England.

Your theory is wrong because RM without CR7 this season is stronger than Juve without CR7. CR7 could have won more CLs with the Algerian shaman at the helm and that compact midfield/defense behind him.

Of course he can't score when he has to create literally everything by himself. He is basically playing midfielder now under Setien. We will burn him to the ground in this way. Our midfield can't create shit! We literally have no midfielder who can create anything dangerous. 90% of the time our midfielders are doing back or side passing and they absolutely can't contribute anything in attack. We must look for a new midfielder during summer transfer window, someone who can play that "Iniesta role". We miss that as much as we miss a striker.

Exactly. Apart from circulating the ball, all our midfielders are absolute shite both ways. Vidal works like hell, that is it. The rest have no particular quality at all. Laughable.

De Jong has to be moved to DM and for CM position we need to buy a much more attacking oriented midfielder. This just isn't working.
