That we would have won at least 1 more CL if he ran 10 km in the big games. Not all games but the CL KOs

Against Bayern in 2015, he ran 8.5 to 9 and destroyed them. Imagine that.

so he never ran 10, but you think because he ran 8-9 in one game he would have won much more?

He did.. The 2015 was an anomaly.. He really stepped that season workrate wise. Scoring 8.5 km in crucial games.. No wonder we won everything

You were one of the first ones with the "kilometers matter" tag and that is the essence of Barca's problems.

The day we clock 115-120 KM a game is the day we don't fucking get folded in the CL KO.

Does anyone have km covered in CL games from 2010-2012?

8-9 km on average, 9-10 in the biggest games. Even as early as 2012 it was coming down. He was lazy after giving the ball away that led to Ramires goal for instance (it might have been Drogba but one of the two).

I always thought that intensity is more important than tactics.. Thats a belief of mine. Tactics and everything else only matters when the intensity is the same from both teams.

Because he has godly talent. So even if he runs 8.5 km that's enough terror for defenses. But when u are on 7.2 or 7.3.. Thats simply not enough at all..

what's his average for this season?

@kingleo: in 2015 he had a prime support cast. if you like to make it about him running 1.5 more than be my guest.

DeJong said it well. It wasn't the talent, it was hard work/intensity we lacked in Bayern game. We just couldn't handle them physically. We were overwhelmed by their physical condition and speed. No chance.

Suarez at anything below 10 is absolutely unacceptable.

How did this guy get a pass when Xavi and Iniesta didn't???????

Not to mention Suarez acceleration and top speed. He is essentially useless. He can never steal the ball because his lack of speed/acceleration. It wouldn't matter if he would run 20km per game, he would still add nothing. He needs to fix his knee.
