Keep Messi in the final third as much as possible and surround him with enough creativity to get him the ball in areas where he can hurt teams, rather than trying to dribble past 5 players every time from the halfway line.

Problem has been having Messi as deep as possible searching for the ball because nobody else was capable of doing anything with it.
