(🌕) Bartomeu will only sit down with Messi to talk about his continuity and a contract renewal, but not a departure. He has made it clear to Jorge Messi, Messi?s father, that he continues to close the doors to negotiate a departure. @esport3 #FCB 🇦🇷❌

Bartomeu is one stubborn fool.

We should just sell and get something for him. He only has 1 year left on his contract (may not even have that if Messi wins his case in the courts). He's really just going to let him leave on a free just so he can claim victory. Bartomeu knows he only has about 6 months left, so he's really doesn't care if Messi is happy or not.

Us keeping Messi for another year won't accomplish anything. Our squad is still shit, and you're just forcing an unhappy Messi to carry them. Get ready for our worst season in decades.

I can't believe some morons mentions 'Bar?a paid for his treatment'. Who cares? It costed peanuts for them. Plus they have been reimbursed!
What a joke football business is.
They better not mess up the end of career of the player who bring them such prestige, fans, trophies and hundreds of millions of Euros.

'the club is bigger than the player'. Alright but,'Messi's life belongs to him, damn'.

Right Snowy? ;-)

Viva la libertad !!! :super2:

If Messi told them in July that he wanted to leave at the end of the season they're very lucky he didn't use his clause back then as he would have been free to walk away now.

All the players including Messi are expected to return to the training center on Sunday to take their coronavirus tests. Sources close to Messi say he doesn't want to leave on bad terms and he'll take the test and train with the other players [md]

At this point im beginning to doubt between Barto trying to up the price or just prefer to have Messi leave on a free after a year of sulking as long as its not his name attached to the transfer.

I can imagine it's definitely the second one. I quite honestly think he'd be fearing for his safety around Barcelona if he was in charge when Messi officially left. Bartomeu time and time again has protected himself over the best interests of Barca.

The clause ended by may/June not July there is no difference between July & now.
