What does this campaign stand for? To let him leave or stay?

Best midfielder around
Iniesta class as always. That's what a captain looks like. Not someone who goes hiding and throwing his toys out the pram after he has led them into a humiliating defeat.

33 years old and still hiding behind his daddy. Coward
Go back to the Juve forums. You?re not even doing this properly. Barely putting in any effort.

This is what happens the board coddles a player above anything else:

1) They took the fall for his tax issues a few years ago which Real refused to do for CR7. And CR7 is same stature in the footballing world as Messi. Remember the "WeAreAllMessi" or some cringe bullshit?
2) Now when they're expecting the same unwavering loyalty from Messi, Messi says "nah fam" and thus Barto is caught with his pants down in public.

Poetic justice for bad policies by the board, really.

CR7 may have the same stature in football, but he didn't have the same stature at Real. People who do this comparison forget that basically Messi is raised here and represents the most successful period of this club.
Real was just the biggest stage for CR7. They didn't really give a fuck about him and he never gave a fuck about Real. He was even booed while at Real. Not to mention that he is Portuguese.

He's doesn't want it to go to court because he knows he would lose and it would cost him money

Stop being an idiot! He wanted to leave at first for the chance of finally getting to play in a top team. But now, he's calling out Barto's bluff. He'll stay and let the Ratface pay out the debt with his own money. Check mate motherfuuuuucccckaaaaaa

Check'it out!

I am unsure if you guys understood Tancredi correctly, but my understanding is that City still wants Messi for free, thats why they would offer him 500mil in 5 seasons, what is 100 mil per season. It is not impossible since they would get him for free saving 1500-200 mil euros. And we all know that even in barca he would ask for similar contract (if renewing again)
