You guys are so lucky...I had everything booked last April to watch the gave vs Atletico. Sadly, the whole trip was cancelled due to the pandemic.

On the other hand, the whole team and Messi in particular were underwhelming last year,so it would have been a relatively sour experience.

I think that anyone who visited the Camp Nou between 2009 and 2017 is truly blessed...

Best game of his that you've seen live?

Him beating Zarra's record was pretty good. 5-1 vs Sevilla with a hattrick from Leo. Suarez played RW that game, his screams for the ball were heard in the second tier of the stands.

My mate was in the press box in the Bernabeu when Messi scored last minute 3-2 and held shirt up.

I was at the Supercup vs Madrid a couple of months after that game.
I was also shown a shirt, but it was the shitty version of that celebration when CR copied Messi. Also remember Asensio scoring a banger. Overall Barca were completely outplayed.

Ah the zarra game was something else

Wow that was a great goal from Ronaldo though and asensio scored also a screamer

I lived in Barcelona in 2010 and 2011. First match I saw live was vs Kopenhagen for cl. Was a bad match but he scored twice.

Wanted to go to the manita mstch but couldbt afford it. Scenes on the streets afterwards was amazing though.

Webt to one classico eventually. In Bernabeu, supercopa. The one where Villa scored that great goal.

Went to many matches but the last one was Barcelonna vs Espanyol in 2019.
Messi scored twice. I said to my friend, maybe its the last time we have seen him play?

Hope we can still watch him at at Barca next season.

I also had everything booked for that game. And as soon as I did it, the pandemic stroke.

every club and player deals with unforeseen and difficult circumstances. what the voters look at first and foremost is titles and achievements. messi doesnt have enough of those this year to win it over others who have done better domestically (lewa) and in the elite competitions (mbappe)
bundesliga tax for lewa and he won't get far in euros as well, mbappe won't win CL and maybe even league 1, but he has a chance in euros with france for sure, if messi bags a league and cup double and wins the copa with a good tournament he'll win it for sure, unless kevin de bruyne wins the cup, league, UCL and gets really far in the euros with belgium, then he'll win it with the oncoming PR push from the english media

no, he wont. quote me on this. bet me on this. unless messi ALSO wins the copa america and performs really well in the tournament (which wont happen) he has no chance at the bdor.

Barcelona has the upper hand . Take 70% pay cut or leave. Even with 70% Paycut he would be the highest Paid Player in the world.

We have the upper hand. His only choice is psg

Rumours are 50 % pay cut and 10 year contract. 2 years at Barca, some as player/Barca ambassador in USA and then a role within the club.
