You guys would say Messi to Saudi Arabia is over and then the next minute everything is agreed and then Barca was over and then it was happening and now it's not

La Liga approved our plan. Whether we can carry out that plan is another story all together. Let me guess the situation.

Barca-Laporta got a plan that say if we are to sell players for X amount we can register Messi again. So, please wait until X date.

Messi does not entirely believe the plan can be carried out considering what happened to him last time. So, wanting to avoid relocating his family in a rush in case the plan failed, he want to know his future asap. He give the deadline and that timeline is not possible from the club point of view.

His dad constantly pressure him to accept that Billion deal. His wife and kids pressure him to wait for Barca.

I personally think even Messi himself is not sure at this point.

I always find it funny when people ask how much money does he need. Anyone who has been rich or been around people with money will know that the old adage that the more money you have the more you want, is true.

It's as absurd as asking a rock star to stop sleeping with women because how many women does he need. It's s just not how the human mind operates at the base level. The more sex we have, the more we want. The more money we have, the more we want.

The fact that Leo is actually considering a deal where he would be making 375m a year less shows him in nothing but a good light in my opinion. Make no mistake, pretty much every 36 year old footballer would've already signed the Saudi contract he has been offered.

Greed is in our nature as humans. 2 years of SA while getting 1 billion? Show me one athlete who would say no to that. Heck, there are very few individuals in the world who can say no to that.
Anyone, who doesn't aspire to become next George Soros and use his fortune to topple nation states or bath in the swimming pool of golden coins like Scrooge McDuck. There isn't a single thing he couldn't buy with the riches already had and will still keep earning being most famous sport asset in the world. How many luxury villas would you really want? Isn't point of money to be able to do what you want and enjoy yourself? Don't see how for greatest football player in history spending years in the shitty camel league corelates with that.

Dunno man, maybe he plans to visit Mars in next 20 years. That's surely gonna cost a pretty penny.

Glazers are haggling for 1-2 billions on the United sale and they are loaded. Like the above poster said - it's human nature.
