Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

Played way too deep, Maradona wanted him to be the playmaker who feeds the offense guys with passes but even for this role he was too deep and considering he was Messi he had to play near box.Wasted his talent, Pep knew how to get the best out of Messi
Hot take: The current 37 year old Messi would have suited better for the 2010 side than 23 year old Messi

That team was young and needed someone in midfield to pull the strings and 37 year old Messi would have done that.

Riquelme was solely needed for that side.

This take is so hot that my computer started to burn 🔥 :nervous:

Jokes aside, yep definitely, not only because his midfield skills are on another level compared to young Messi but also he is more clever and he would do his 'own shit' when he notices that the tactics are crap. I assume young Messi has just done what Maradona said to him.
2010 Argentina had a lot of potential but they needed a coach with a clear idea.

Imagine Scaloni or hansi with this team.

@soul24rage As you see Soul dude i praise la pulga when he deserves it

and if i think he deserves criticism i do that also

thats why i always say im a neutral guy :)

I hope next time some people/certain group understand that my intention is never to attack Messi ( he is my top5 favourite player), it's criticism which are based on argument, i do that with every player in the world!

I had never doubted that you were neutral. None whatsoever.

Let's hope our GOAT keeps on balling

Miami down 1-2 rn after two quick Atlanta goals.

Miami's on the front foot getting chances including a Suarez side bicycle blocked by keeper, just gotta convert one or two in second half.

Still nervous, no Imho wonder if he's injured.

Campana could've headed the third goal away if he weren't staring at the ref. Miami were stunned by Atlanta's goals so they weren't playing freely. Alba's header would've beat most keepers, I'm disgusted.

Hope he retreats after this debacle from Argentina. Said he is done, playing in MLS alongside his amigos made him revert to his last Barcelona days mentality, totally without legs.

The best thing that happened to him is PSG, that pissed him off and he focused on Argentina.
But I guess he is too deep in his cult to see the danger of spoiling his image again.
