I love Messi with all my heart, but if he doesn't leave after all this I'll be quite disappointed.

This is NOT how you run a respectable club. He deserves better.

As mentioned, I don't "recognize" this club any more. Even friggin Perez is behaving with more decorum than our shambolic board. Never ever thought I'd make that assertion.

Barto is a literally a Criminal when it comes to our Club.

It's always tough adjusting to a new country and club. It will take a while but if he's doing well on the pitch I'm sure he'll adjust better to life off the pitch.

Messi himself said the Champions League means a lot to him (winning just one more would be almost as important to his legacy as finally getting his hands on the World Cup, I reckon. A manita of Champions League trophies ~ one World Cup).

As it stands, he has one less CL than Cristiano Ronaldo. Both already have the one international trophy. Messi also has the Olympics gold medal from Beijing 2008. Everyone on this forum knows he's the best of all time, but the same can't be said for people that aren't Barca supporters. Winning just one more CL with Paris would end all disputes on the matter.

Messi is certainly the most impactful player of all time for us. Cruyff is the most influential figure in modern football.

I would think that Messi himself knows more about what he cherishes and wants more than most of us on this forum, so to say that the "Champions League isn't important" is being willfully disingenuous and/or downright ignorant.

This is the Champions League Group Stage draw from last season together with the UEFA awards. Hoping for a good un. Thursday the 26th.

(Imma download the shite outta the Reims vs Paris SG when it's played. Just to give my jaw a good workout on repeat. Still can't believe he's no longer with us (and is with Paris SG to boot). Next Sunday the 29th.)

Hahah messi wpuld easily trade those 4 or potential 5 cl's for a worldcup with Argentina.
That is a reach anyway, almost like a cl in current Barca.
With Psg he has a shot atleast.

They are on paper anyway. Especially the italian league with all the big games. Not one game in the French league makes people stand up and notice really

Best thing now for messi is if psg get a top English, spanish(real or atleti) and Italian club in the Champions League group stage. There is not one game in the French league that will help his legacy really so the more big games he gets in Europe the better

Cant see why not. Good thing they didn't win their league last year so they won't be in pot one. Something like City, Real and juve would be nice. At least that's 6 big games in the season guaranteed for him if he stays fit

Yes.

Pot 1
Chelsea (ENG), UEFA Champions League holders
Bayern (GER)
Manchester City (ENG)
Atl?tico de Madrid (ESP)
Villarreal (ESP), UEFA Europa League holders
Inter Milan (ITA)
Sporting CP (POR)
LOSC Lille (FRA)

They can't play Lille obviously/
1st 3 teams are as big as it gets, Atletico and Inter are decent enough, Villarreal and Sporting aren't that exciting of a match up

Pot 2:
Real Madrid
Barcelona
Juventus
Manchester United
Paris Saint-Germain CC
Liverpool CC
Sevilla CC
Borussia Dortmund

Those are teams PSG aren't getting

Pot 3: Ajax, Leipzig, Atalanta, FC Porto, Zenit.

Good teams right there, but non are super exciting or big matches.

Pot 4: AC Milan, Club Brugge, Wolfsburg.

Milan is still a big name, but most casuals probably don't know the names of their squad except few players.

Besitkas & Dynamo Kyiv are qualified but not in any of the pots yet, either 3rd or 4th

Would love a City,PSG, Leipzig & Milan group
