Idk, I think CL and Argentina are his focus at least until the next WC. Not sure he has the durability at this age to beast it in those matches while also delivering week in and week out in a league like the PL.

If Messi is still World Class at age 36 I wouldn't mind him returning for a final season at Barca if we're able to add him without causing any issues to our Starting XI, salary bill and all that.

Laporta will have to repair his relationship with him though.

Good team but a bit open in midfield. Also a few injuries and they are severely weakened. You could easily see di Maria, neymar and Verratti being injured for some big knockout game because they usually are. Also they are not tested enough in that league and it shows every year

Regarding discussion over whether Messi should have gone to PL, it's also worth considering the quarantine rules in the UK. There are 5 international breaks this season and he would need a 10 day quarantine upon returning each time based on the current rules. With all that and him getting such a late start to preseason as well, this would have been a far from optimal time for him to make that move.

don't know why but i just don't see haaland joining barca. not the style we usually go for and seems a more PL oriented player.
