No way THEY get past the R16. City will win the group. If THEY get second, one of the group winners will beat THEM in the first round anyway.

We'd like to welcome you back, but it's not like you're going places with us.

Messi's walking around is too taxing even for PSG.

3 day walkers on the pitch when Mbappe was still walking.

Wijnaldum the back/side passing poser. thank PSG barca dodged a bullet.

Paredes got lazy on his assignment giving up the first goal.

Neymar should be on the bench and di maria should starts. This alone will make them better.

Messi's been playing a free role since 2010 actually. But he was disciplined up until 2016...and since then he's been dropping deeper and deeper to the midfield.

Still feel that discipline was weak before Lucho came (and after Pep). Lots of small things enabled that treble, Messi going against himself, so did Neymar. But as time went by, it wasn't only about discipline, it was also about physicality.

I have watched a few LA Galaxy games and New England Revolution matches. Mad dogs like Lletget and Kessler will give messi a hard time

Is this the new "could he do it on a rainy night against Stoke?

Messi was still La Ligas best player last season, sorry, i just cant accept the notion he couldnt do it in the MLS.

Him playing as a true winger/wing forward in 14-15 is what resulted in a 60 goal season and a treble.

As usual, you have a valid point but you exaggerate. Things got out of hand since end of 15-16.

As Joan said, 2015 was a weird season.
Our last dance.

Remember that Messi dropped to a false pivot position in 2014 vs Atletico in the 2nd half.

Messi was a GOAT, but he had tons of flaws.
A huge part of our fans didn't want to see his flaws and blamed coaches, Rakitic and Argentina for everything.

But he'll turn Psg into a new Argentina/Barca with his walking, lack of defending, dropping deep, slowing down the play, asking for a slow possession instead of counters.

This Psg played CL final and semis in the last two years.
They can't be that bad.
This year they will play like a slow-granny Barca.

Messi brings 20-40 goals per season but also 100 of other flaws.
And as he is growing older, positives are rarer and the flaws are more and more apparent.

Messi gets that curled shot into the top corner - he's a genius.

Doesn't manage to score - he would struggle in MLS

You're welcome
Messi will do well. Midfield needs to get its act together so he doesn't drop deep to pick up balls. He was close today to a goal and assist.
All PSG players are better than what they have shown today. And Verratti will return.
