actually the reason messis mental strength broke is mostly due to the fact that in 2019 he set out as his mission to recover the CL trophy--made a speech about it and everything, yet he was completely unable to bring it home

i guaranteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee u messi would HAPPILY trade his 2019 and 2021 bdors for CLs

indeed if there is one difference between Cr and messi is that CR would likely trade his CLs for ballon dors while messi would do the opposite

You don't know any details, just guessing. Messi lost a few finals with Argentina which was his biggest dream - to win for his nation. I didn't notice the guy broken mentally during those periods, instead he kept playing on his own level which no one else can even currently.

well yes, messi would probably prefer a wc with Arg over another Cl, but thats not saying his 2019 disappointment didnt hurt him badly
