Read he was getting slaughtered in French press and by fans again after last game and not liking his lack of running.

All on CL for him.

Just hope French not liking him will not prompt any stupid 'return' move by Laporta

There is no way it is going to happen, for so many reasons:

- Laporta might be corrupt but he is not stupid. Team is moving forward, not dwelling on the past. Getting Messi back achieves nothing.
- Laporta has apparently burnt the bridges when Messi left.
- There is no way we can afford Messi's wages, let alone fitting it into the salary limit.

Never imagined that the thread of the greatest player (love him or hate him as a person, his accomplishments are easily the greatest in a Barcelona jersey) in Barcelona history and a surefire GOAT tier in football history would be absolutely unreadable (on a Barcelona forum; would probably expect this at Redcafe but his thread there is far more civil and reasonable )

It's unreadable because some lowlifes that never touched a woman in their whole life are making it like this. In a normal forum, these scums would be banned indefinitely.

Dani Alves?

Wouldn't rule out a return move at all if Barcelona sees the opportunity.

Dani Alves is a band-aid, a temporary alternative to fill a much larger hole when both our sources and player availability are limited, plus he is on very low wages. He was not brought back because we missed him (we did but that wasn't the reason), rather because of the need both on and off the pitch.

Messi on the other hand, if he is ever brought back it is strictly based on sentimental reasons, not practical ones (even though he can still help us for sure), not to mention there is no way we could accommodate his wages.

I mean sure bash the forum all you want, but why make it personal and bring something like that into this, what does it have to do with anything? So you're automatically a low life if you don't fuck around everything that moves? :banghead:

This unfortunately.

Xavi's arrival is the wet-dream of the Amigos.
Managed already to bring an ex-footballer back from the dead

Remember also the common dinner btw MEssi XAvi and Amigos recently in Barcelona?
I would n't rule out Xavi pressuring Laporta to 'find a way' to get him back.
Laporta and Allemany must hold firm and resist those pressures

Well, the biggest point is about his wages.
The rest can be 'justified' by Xavi.
But what if Messi offers to play for free like Dani?

I don't wanna even imagine that kind of crap put forward to bring him back
