Madrid were much worse than I expected although I haven't seen too much of them in La Liga while PSG did much better than I thought and controlled much of the match.

Messi looked the clear wink link in that team alongside possible Danilo. If they had a proper striker in that 9 role, PSG could have smashed Madrid today and would be close to the likes of Bayern and Pool although still behind City.

I have seen some matches. They are nothing special

He didn’t even celebrate after the Mbappe goal….

I noticed that too. His attitude during the last two seasons at Barca irked me a bit but wasn't as bad as it has been this season and he was also performing quite well a lot of the time.

His performances and attitude this season have been a disgrace though, even more so given the $ he is on there.

He had moments in which he clearly tried but the power of his legs have been gone. You could already see this in ligue1 matches and the excuse 'He is caring himself for cl' is as expected completely trash.

Messi did have some good passes as usual, but outside that he didn't offer much.

He just isn't as threatening anymore with his pace gone though, age comes for everyone.

I would say it was a decent performance in terms of his passing and dribbles, but that penalty was just awful.

And I'm definitely not happy about his body language after the Mbappe goal.

But PSG have the upper hand in this tie without any away goals for RM. The RM front line including Benz was just atrocious and totally dominated.

He should retire after the world cup or go to MLS. He's done. No doubt about it.
It's not only physical but mental too. He doesn't look motivated and seems to be going through the motions.
We really should have cashed in on him when he wanted to leave. We could have got some money and started the rebuild. Knowing Barti he would have wasted the money anyway.

Wait, have they removed the away goals rule?

I swear there was some discussion about this but how knows what the fuck UEFA is up to these days.

If he's playing like a liability for PSG in a match like this where they had the clear upper hand territorially and in possession, then lord knows what his impact would be like aginst the big three english clubs or Bayern.

If Neymar can get back to fitness, the best front three would probably be what they had last season in Neymar-Mbappe-Di Maria.
