Come on it's just pure revisionism here/direct trolling (which is fine, this is an internet board), but Messi is still the goat, his performances and magic before 2016 were indescribable. Team got worse but goddamn Messi choked a lot of times in crucial moments in the Champions League. Roma away is unforgivable for not stepping up. Anfield too. He should have scored one goal at Anfield to put Barca through. His pussy mentality was not as obvious as Alba?s, but he was so half hearted in this role.
Just a very disappointing 6-7 years (maybe more) to end his club career.
