i see this tune played by lots of people in here. 'oh he was 34 anyway', 'we would have parted ways eventually', 'he wasn't in his prime anymore', 'he was too big for the club' etc etc

thing is, the club shouldn't have let this happen. our greatest ever player should have retired here, with a proper farewell.

so, from my point of view, what happened is a disaster. not even going to mention the state of the squad and the individuals that are still here, leeching off our club.
