I am yet to watch a single minute of Messi in action outside of the Man City match. I can’t make myself cheer for an despicable and insecure club like QSG and the whole idea of Messi wasting his time in the Ligue 1 does not sit well with me.

The divorce was not pretty and unfortunate but in many ways necessary. Nothing lasts forever.

Nothing to do+morbid curiosity does the trick for me.

Their midfield is designed to win the ball and give it to Neymar/Mbappe for a counter. They can't play any other way. For Messi to be a big difference maker here they need to control the ball. Rennes have looked far better.

To be fair if City had a real 9 they would have beaten PSG on Tuesday.

Messi been very unlucky on a couple occasions today according to the match report.

true.

Yeah Messi hit a great freekick at the crossbar, in second half he is ok, not good. Neymar has been very bad in second half.

Psg reminds me of Barca in that every single player is useless when defending in open spage. That young Rennes winger has had every one of them on toast since the game started.

We have to honest, 2nd half Messi has been very poor. Doesn?t look like he wants to be there, absolutely no enthusiasm at all. Walk walk and more walk.

Poch is the worst fit for PSG's attack. No way to implement his intense pressing system with those three at the same time. Not even saying he's a good manager, but it's just a mismatch on all fronts.

Pochettino is a bum. PSG are all over the place when attacking. Players are too far apart and they don't have some passing paterns.

Exactly, they shouldn't have gone for him. They need wingers for counter attacking football

Sulemana had an excellent game, and while I am sure he is nowhere near world class (just 19 to be fair), it's frustrating to see our options there in comparison.

so had man city actually finished their chances we'd potentially be looking at QSG failing to get past the group stage. who knows, leipzig might give them a run for their oil money

Can't believe PSG replaced Tuchel with Pochettino! Tuchel is levels above this guy!

Messi had a great first half, hit the post, and created few chances but they unfortunately couldn't score the goal.

Well porch wants to dominate the ball but it's impossible with Messi Neymar and Mbappe.

Mbappe and Messi are the laziest Players in world right now. Neymar does track back but it depends on his mood
