One of the worst games this season, but we got a victory and that's what counts.

Bad idea to start Rafinha and Iniesta together, the distance between our players was too big and there was hardly any triangles, so every pass had to be too direct and too long. Often times we were just kicking the ball up field to get out of pressure, we just couldn't play ourselves out of Celtas high pressure. Luchos system crumbled completely in this match, and we need to improve our form quickly if we want to keep this lead in the league, or have any hope in the CL. Hopefully we can blame this one on the Fifa virus and play a good game against Almeria on Wednesday.

One of the ugliest wins we've had in recent times. Looks like we regressed, very unpleasant to watch.

Disappointing, but hopefully we step up again.

Positives from this game:

Pique continues his beast form.
Xavi proves that he should be getting more game time. (Rotate with Iniesta)
Pedro was a breath of fresh air over the constant dispossession we've had to endure over the recent past.

Hopefully Lucho takes note of the improvements in the second half.

Other observations:

Messi was clearly not fully fit yet.
Neymar continues his horrible form.

Fully agreed. Too much space between players, no options to pass other than long balls or passing backwards. Wonder what our passing accuracy was in the first half.

But this isn't our normal system. We regressed.

Well, thanks St.Mathiu, but wtf did our players do during those international breaks apart from playing for NT? They seemed so unfit as if they spent two weeks slouching around pubs. They seemed exhausted in the first time already.
Oh and Rafinha should be out of the team by the end of this season or in worst case, only play against Elche and Granada at home. Hope Lucho finally got it. He is completely clueless as to where and when he should be, what runs to make and who to mark or not. Dumb player.

Also, since Neymar is hitting the shit creek, i think Iniesta should be tried in his place. The former should go through some yoga studies or shaoline monastery to get his shit together for a while and the later is being wasted in position, where he can't show even 50% of what he's capable of.

It was an ugly game but you have to grind out nasty wins from time to time.

Absolutely delighted. Let's just remember this is the month where the title will be most likely won or lost and this was the first game and we got the win.

Pique was top class again, but Xavi really changed the game. Pedro was very good when he came on. Much quicker in his play than anybody else.

Roll on Wednesday, a nice relaxing night for us fans.

Messi clearly not fit. Suarez had an off game, and Neymar had a awful 1st half, but improved in the 2nd. Pity his legit goal was disallowed. Rafinha should never start difficult away games again, even less pairing Iniesta. LE can't be that stubborn, this is clear as day.
