They were so open the entire game yet we only managed to score from a set piece. Dominated by Celta for fair amounts of time, embarrasing.

Reading all the posts in the player's threads gives me cancer. People want to sell Neymar, say Messi has horrible finishing etc.
We won the damn game and remain on top of the league. Fuck everything else. The team is going to win the game against Almeria without giving 100% for 90 minutes and after that we will see what we can do in the tough matches.

Criticism is 100% warranted after displays like that. We played with fire and could have been fucked. Which is why many people are very satisfied that we got the three points, especially after Madrid trashed granada with 9 goals.

Yet this level of play is entirely insufficient.

This is a very difficult month which will decide the title race.

We need to improve our game vs the likes of Sevilla and Valencia, but 3 points are 3 points so happy with that.

You'll have some scrappy ganes here and there. Hopefully it's out of the system now :p

yeah that was way too close. the front 3 need to work on their finishing because the CBs are saving our asses these past two games. although tbh I'm less worried about playing the top teams, we seem to have a good record against them this year. it's the freaking malaga, sociedad, etc ..

In the end all that counts is 3 points. We just need to keep on winning now and hopefully won't slip. Maybe we will be first team to beat Sevilla away from home? Messi wasn't 100% this game, with Almeria midweek, he should be able to get his form back and GOAT mode should start once again :)

Bad game, Good win. Sometimes we get these types of games from the players, but the important thing right now is the win espically after the international break.

Such a poor game but we still come away with the three points so thats the main thing. We'r always crap after the international break and not so long ago we would have lost that game so well done lucho an the team. Pique was a beast were are all his haters at now and messi not fully recoverd and wearing old boots

First half was just horrible. As bad as we can be. We didn't even turn up.

The urgency in the second half was so much better but still struggled to break them down. First half was a disgrace.

A half like that away at PSG and we'd be out of Europe.

We played horrible first half against real madrid too but they didn't score 10 goals. Even when we play very badly our defense is managing to keep us in the game. As long we have pique on form these horrible half's does not matter. It is not wrong to sit deep and counter but against celta we commited too many individual mistakes in first half and we couldn't even make couple of passes. That is very bad a little less that that like against real Madrid first half is acceptable that too only when we turn up in second half. That way we can still assure a win.

My point is this barca knows how to suffer which is very important because of below average midfield. There will be many more matches where we can be outplayed in midfield this season (bayern and psg) After seeing matches against real and celta I have more confidence in the team now. Even when we are playing horribly we are managing to win and that is important quality for a champion.
