I discuss Barca, I bring a perspective. Dont mistake that for pessimism/trolling or doom or gloom. And by the way: I see every match and has done that for many years now.

Its stupid you say, thats fine. But I prefer facts, tell me: Did we have a long good period from january onwards, until lately, say city game?
We played pretty decent football for a while and certain players were in form.

Now we have had three/four average games with good results. Linetty claim that its due to conservation of energy, I say I hope so, but have my doubts.

Nothing particulary stupid here, rewatch the latest games and compare with the earlier period. I claim that we have been playing weaker. Lets see if its due to conservation of energy. Future will tell, In a way.

Nah, that's not realistic. You're not making sense at all, you think that we lost form or something while we just put off the pedal a bit. We need to be at 100% at Man City in midweek and we will be because we are smart and experienced enough to know how to win with minimum effort. You seem to not realize pretty simple things. Games like against Granada win you silverware, minimum effort, a bit of ball hoofing and we win 3-1. That's what characterizes top sides.

Not to mention you went bonkers after the Villarreal CdR game where we already had a 3-1 lead and won 3-1 in the return leg as well. And we did it with miminum effort, just passing the ball around. You should be glad after those performances and you'll see for yourself it'll be vital to win the return leg against Man City and El Clasico where we'll have to run a lot.

Ok. Thanks for answering. Maybe Our disagreement comes down to my inability to see the players cynical and explicit rational behaviour against weak opponents.

The commentary always talks about different "gears", why give it all if you not have to and so on. I agree. But I also claim that there is another pattern there, meaning, saying its all due to conserving energy isnt sufficient.

I suggest that we but the argument to rest and see what the next 8 days bring.
