Lliga: Granada CF - FC Barcelona 1-3

Our football in january and february has been good thanks to pretty much 4 players.

Now it's not even realism or pessimism, it's stupidity.

Neymar/messi/suarez/pique won us the matches. Alves is alves. Iniesta has been average for some time. Raki did 2 or 3 really good matches, but nothing extraordinary. Rafinha, one good game. Masch, some good/some bad. Alba, decent, but not more. Busquets some good/some average.

You tell me the performances were down to 4 players? Now you're massively underrating our players and showing how much you know about football, like those who score and assist are the only ones who are important.

Every player adds his bit and it's a team game. Sorry that some of the players aren't Messi/Neymar level but they don't need to be. Some of the players just need to be solid not extraordinary.

This game Lucho should rest Messi and Neymar. Both looked tired the last game. Messi wasn't tired but lost sharpness and need to recharge his battery for March's key games.

Granada managed to win only 1 game vs. Elche the past 10 games they played. I think we can manage to win this without Messi for God sake! He can come off the bench if forced to.

So far I don't understand Lucho's rotation. He should've rested Messi or Neymar in easy games like Levante for example knowing that we are playing Villarreal, Malaga and City next. How about Xavi? Not playing him against Malaga then he didn't play against City too makes no sense!

I wouldn't Rest Messi against Granada, Neymar I would though. Personally my Lineup would be. Bravo, Alves-Barta-Masche-Alba Xavi-Busi-Rakitic Pedro-Suarez-Messi you can't underestimate Teams Even like Granada at Their home who are Fighting Regulation and will easily put up a fight.

I have observed 90 minutes of good collective football, team football. The first half against atletico home. We outplayed them. We havent played like that since Milan at home. And 45 minutes against city. Thats it.

Do you agree? If not, show me a match where Barca has performed like a solid team? Bilbao away? Atletico away? Individual performance as far as I can see.

Do you think the other teams are so weak that Barca can dominate them for straight 90 minutes, especially in CL? Every team has quality players that can cause havoc.

You leave out one key factor here. The tactics and team chemistry (notice the happiness?) also improved immensely after the Anoeta game. In other words: Lucho has done well and improved the team and deserves credit for these victories as well, a point your argument seems to skip entirely.

I can see where your coming from, though I don't quite agree with your pessimistic stance. However, you have to remember that there are only two matches left in the Copa, the return leg of the semi-final and the final. With around 3 months of the season left, how can you say that we should prioritize 2 matches? It doesn't make sense because we can prioritize those 2 matches as well as other matches in the season.
