The panic will be enormous if we drop points:

1. Busi and Raki will be back
2. The board will use the dropped points as proof that Neymar is needed

Please win tonight!

De Jong at dm, I like it. Well see more dynamic play and a guy that can actually defend and keep up with counters. Dembele on the right is his best position, and we’ll see how Griezmann does as a lw, but I think he should be a striker when Messi is available.

Rumour has it Raki and Busi will play a lot less this season. Valverde wants to keep them both fresh for the CL knockout games in April/ March.

Well that’s just dumb. If anything it should be the other way, they’re still good enough for the Liga but nowhere near the level to compete in Europe anymore.

Good line up. It was refreshing to see the midfield pressing with intensity against Napoli. A side of the game that has been badly missed in recent years.

Rakitic and Busi reactions.

Rakitic already calling his agent to leak out some bullshit story like they did when Lucho benched him for Gomes.

No, no.
I like it.

No Arthur, I am fine.

I have faith in these guys.
This is currently my favorite lineup, tbh.

I agree from the dynamism perspective, but Arthur is a good controller for use in certain games/situations. He fills a role just like Vidal fills the workhorse role.

He'll probably play as an interior LW anyway, kinda like Villa did, but this time with Alba pushing forward to occupy that space on the far left.

Alena, Frenkie, Sergi midfield!!!!!!!

This is amazing!!!!!

Too bad I've got a sneaky feeling Valverde is only doing this for a bit of positive PR, and that after the first few games Busi-Rakitic as starters will resume as normal.

Aspiazu (assistant Valverde): "Coutinho left out? I have no information. He has trained less than his teammates." "Against Napoli we played a great game thanks to our midfield formed by De Jong, Aleñá and Sergi Roberto, and we are happy with them. Rakitić and Busquets will continue to have many games."
