Played faster for 13 minutes, then got tired and returned to old habbits, lol.

At least we have learned how long can our team run, move and press.

= 13 minutes

Nah. We are still passing better and faster. Usually we don't create much in the first half.

At this rate, I fully expect to see Puig or Arthur come in at half time already. Setien seeing that this midfield just doesn't work. Valverde subbed off Alena and brought on Vidal after 45 minutes to make our midfield even more boring, while Setien gonna sub off Rakitic and bring on Puig in his debut match.:rockon:

The team having 85% possession and 6 shots already, more than we had under Valverde in the entirety of his matches, you muppet.

We played 9 home matches under EV this season.
8 wins and 0:0 vs Real Madrid.

Out of 9 matches, we were leading at half time in 7 matches.
Except 1:1 vs Betis without Messi and Suarez iirc.
And 0:0 vs Real.

We won comfortably in all smaller matches at home.

In the first 45 minutes:
More first touch passes
And more movement

Bad:
Absolute shit in attack with Messi as a No9/false 9.

My commentator has said tonight that Setien's teams were known for nice possession football in midfield, yet being a total shit and sterile in attack.
Apparently Betis fans hated his sterile possession based football in the end.

Personally, I can't explain how much I hate football without a No9, especially when 32 years old Messi drops to a Cm position.

A total chaos in attack.

Our midfield setup looked decent enpugh, but our offensive doesnt work at all. Fati made a few nice runs, but thats it. We seriously lack punch without Suarez.

We don't have backup striker so what other options we have?

Damn.

not having a striker is clearly hurting us.

Great first half though, totally dominated the game but no goal to show for it.

#SetienSquad off to a good start.

You hate this style while others love it. This possession triangle passing attacking style is a huge part of the Barca dna .. you might want to consider why is it that you support Barcelona. Is it for the glory they have had? The childhood memories you associate to the club? The playing style of the club? .. whatever your reasons, Barca might not be the best team to fulfill what you are seeking
