Setien's new tactical system and philosophy will take time to implement. But the immediate effects we will see are the changes to the lineup and his choices. Griez down the middle has rarely been played, alongside Ansu/Messi as well. IMO that could be a really dynamic front 3 especially if we deploy a great midfield behind them. We will see if he gives Puig significant time, and how he performs. Those changes alone will demonstrate some of the difference Setien will make going forward this season.

We will also see if there is a psychological change on the pitch with the players looking a bit sharper and more focused as their comfort zones have just been shaken up.

Good post. This game will be interesting for a few reasons and you’ve mentioned most. Really hoping to see a midfield 3 of Arthur, Puig, and Busquets although just coming back from injury Arthur may not be ready to start.

Damn, he actually fielded that Raki-Busi-Vidal midfield...the meltdown begins Truth is, he's gonna lose a lot of sympathy from the general public, but especially those fans who are just waiting for him to fail, and after all the big words about liking Puig especially. Even though he had little choice with both Frenkie and Arthur out or clearly not ready for the whole 90 minutes, and I guess he's planning on subbing on Puig later in the game.
