I have no problem with Roberto. The midfield is shit though, but it would have been really ballsy to start Puig.

 Lol guys, chill out, literally the 3 midfielders who could have played are a) coming from an injury, b) suspended, or c) loaned.

Arthur is just back form injury and De Jong is suspended. And Alena was loaned. Basically it is what it is.

Now all that's missing is Setien actually coming out and answering 'It is what it is' on why this midfield. People already having a meltdown as expected and writing 'Setien out' under Barca twitter's official lineup picture  People need to chill out. And I'm sure if Alena hadn't been loaned, he would've started here. And even the most boring midfield should still look a lot better in Setien's system than in Valverde's lack of one.

I just hope we didn’t hire another stubborn yes-man who will start Roberto at RB in the big games where he will be humiliated by any decent player with some pace. Should be okay against the likes of Granada, but we have all seen how it ends in the knockout stages of the CL.

Exactly!
Against the likes of Granada at Camp Nou you can play Busquets at RB and Ter Stegen in midfield and still win. Roberto isn't a RB ant not good enough in midfield either.
If Semedo isn't good enough sign a RB who is good enough but not Roberto!

If those 3 are shite as usual and he makes a change before 70th minute, he is miles better than Valverde.

The way I see it is, if Seten truly is a mastermind that people will have you believe, he will soon realise the free-flowing, fast, attacking football he wants won't be possible with some of these players. I expect Arthur and De Jong will be regulars when 100% fit.

Did he never watch them play before being appointed as Barca manager?
