I hope Smith gives him his chances, Watkins has done great for us but he's almost missed an abundance of chances. It's clear this lad knows where the goal is and his family are life long Villa fans too.

For some reason, I remembered that huy and checked how he is doing.

Great, another player who'll end up at Middlesbrough in 5 years.

That was supposed to be a low bar/hope for him, but he didn't even achieve that, he is loaned in 3rd division club Stockport County F.C. , he was playing with them last year too in 4th division.
He is doing fairly decent this season. Maybe one day he coupd play in EPL or something, although his trajectory seems like a championship player at his peak.

It seems Barca knew after few months that he wasn't goint to cut it here, and moved on. Was strange at the time, but makes sense now
