I agree, except for the last part. Alaba, Marcelo, Luis top 3 for me. Lahm also better when at LB, I think.

The relevant parts in regards to Digne.
The reason why Lucas Digne went on loan originally to AS Roma was in order to receive increased playing time. Did that mind-set shift when arguably the best club in the world in the form of Barcelona came knocking in summer?
Are you worried that the increased competition that comes with playing at FC Barcelona might disadvantage Lucas in terms of nailing down a starting spot for the French national team?

Read that he's really determined to topple Jordi Alba and establish himself as Barcelona's first choice. Hmm Is he far from doing it?

It is good thing that he has this desire but Alba is much better for now,Lucas is talented and he is perfect fit offensively and not as bad as I initially thought he will be in defense but he still has lot of work to do in that end and even in offense it does seem that some of his teammates (cough Neymar cough) isn't on same page with him.
But he is young and I can see him being a good starter in 3-4 years here

I absolutely agree... The thing is that if he keeps improving I can see him starting a bit more often considering the lack of quality fullbacks in today's football...

I don't think he's that slow tbh but at the same time he isn't really quick either like Alba is.
With Alba he can afford to take risks up field since he's fast enough to get back into position when needed. but with Digne he will have to be smarter when going forward and work on his positioning to prevent being completely done in on the counter. and it also helps having some cover as well from Neymar/Iniesta.
